Emory’s tradition of academic excellence and rigor is reflected in our Financial Planning Certificate Program. Our instructors are all Certified Financial Planners® with demonstrated real-world experience in financial planning, and superior teaching ability. Emory University maintains high standards in our selection of instructors and course materials. The program includes over 200 hours of classroom lecture from financial planning experts that covers all 89 topics included on the Comprehensive CFP® Certification Examination. This ensures that our students are not only qualified, but prepared to sit for CFP® Examination.

Companies considering sending their employees through the Financial Planning Certificate Program should consider the Emory Advantage.  Emory’s program is unique for several reasons:

• The program has an accelerated, executive format meeting every other Friday night and Saturday for approximately 9 months
• Successful individuals can graduate and sit for the CFP National examination in under one year
• The tuition price of $5,995 includes all 7 modules, textbooks (which are approximately $700-$950 if purchased separately), and an Emory certificate
• Graduates of Emory’s program have achieved an 76% pass rate on the national examination

Emory University does not certify individuals to use the CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and federally registered certification marks. CFP® certification is granted only by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. to those persons who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met its ethics, experience and examination requirements.
