- Use practical modalities to stimulate their creativity and apply it to a specific genre being written.
- Evaluate their individual strengths and disciplines and understand where additional assistance is needed.
- Understand and strengthen their creativity and writing abilities for effective communication even if it’s not for the next great novel.
- Understand the difference between genre, mainstream, and literary fiction and where their manuscript fits in the marketplace.
What will be covered
- Explore their propensity to write through the use of a personal assessment to
identify the traits of a writer.
- Obtain and apply helpful hints that drive their creative talent to jump-start a hobby
and possibly launch a career.
- Participate in hands-on exercises that use practical modalities to recharge their
creativity.
- Understand what organizations and resources are available to assist writers with
their careers, writing projects, and information.
- Understand the personal assessment as a baseline to measure where their writing
focus is today. Later, use that assessment as a measurement against the baseline to
evaluate what additional information has been applied about becoming a disciplined
and writing writer.
