Biography
Donna has worked as a programmer, trainer, and Access developer. Since 1984, she has been involved in adult education starting her training career with Texas Instruments. Donna has taught at several organizations including Georgia State University, Catapult, and New Horizons. Most recently she worked with Gateway Computers. This is Donna’s second time training with the Center for Lifelong Learning.
Education
1971 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Mathematics. Certified as an Expert Microsoft Office User Specialist in Access and Excel.
Interesting/Humourous Teaching Experience
On September 11, 2001 I was teaching a One on One class for Gateway Computers. We were totally oblivious to what was going on until we broke for lunch. When we learned what had happened, my student said we would always have a connection because of that event. She gave me a Love Jesus charm that I still have with me today. I will always remember this special student.
