Biography
Barbara Sims Collier is a poet, author, voice talent, and watercolorist. Her poetry and short stories are filled with human observations and life messages. Her extensive background includes radio, public speaking, teaching, technical writing, self-publishing, promotion, career counseling and development. Collier recently discovered the art of painting and has quite a portfolio of watercolors. Combining her career and talents, she uses her skills to design and implement creative facilitation sessions to assist students in surfacing new perspectives about writing and problem-solving. Her classes are highly energized to keep students engaged long after the session is over. Collier brings her talents to help others find theirs -- then keeps evolving. Collier is the author of "Snapshots of a Lifetime: A Time to Reflect," "Soul Stirrings," and a highly marketed CD, "A Voice of Reflections.
