Biography
Robert C. Riegel cia,cisa,cfe,cdp,cfsa,csp,flmi,ma Mr. Riegel has served as the Chief Audit Executive for a global Fortune 100 and a global Fortune 500. With extensive global experience, Bob has performed audits or traveled in more than 50 countries, on six continents. Mr. Riegel is a certified internal auditor, a certified information systems auditor, a certified financial services auditor, and a certified fraud examiner. He has a dual master's degree in finance and international business from Webster University in St Louis and an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Missouri. Mr. Riegel taught accounting and international finance for 3 semesters in China, at the Tianjin University of Finance and Economics. As the past President of the West Florida Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) chapter, Bob provided expert training for the area’s computer auditors and network security personnel. Mr. Riegel has served as the Audit Committee Chairman for the National Forensic Science Technology Facility (NFSTC) federally-funded non-profit organization. As a past member of the General Auditors Council of the Manufacturers Alliance (MAPI), Bob has lectured on various auditing topics. He has also lectured at the University of South Florida on fraud-related topics. Bob has performed numerous fraud investigations, both domestically and internationally. Bob currently performs quality assessments for the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). These “audits of the auditors” help ensure compliance with the IIA’s International Standards for Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. He has been a member of the Institute since 1981. Bob is a US Navy veteran.
