Biography
Barbara Rushing joined the Center for Lifelong Learning instructional staff in 2002, teaching Basic Microsoft desktop classes. Barbara has been using computers since the mid-eighties. She received certification from the City University of New York, Laguardia College in 1982. In 1997 Barbara joined the Home Depot Headquarters and her success story began. Barbara managed Home Depot's computer based learning center which was available to their approximate 3,500 employees. Utilization was 90% daily for several years. She then turned the computer based lab into a self paced learning center and moved on to teach and manage Home Depot's registration process for training their employees. Currently Barbara manages a variety of computer training for approximately 4,500 employees. Barbara's enthusiasm brought her to Emory and her passion is what makes her such an asset to Emory. She truly enjoys sharing her years of computer knowledge and experience with new users.

Barbara holds a Bachelor of Business Administration management degree from Bienville University.
