We are an Adobe Authorized Training Center (AATC) and our instructors are Adobe Certified Instructors (ACI). In addition to learning the ins and outs of software tools used in designing print publications, participants in the certificate program benefit from our instructor's wealth of real-world graphic design experience. Hands-on LearningThe classes in the Emory Graphic Design for Print Certificate are not lecture based. Each course is carefully designed to provide time for participants to learn AND practice the real-world print skills they are gaining. In addition to in-class time, participants are expected to spend time each week reviewing new material and working independently. Valuable Capstone CourseThe Emory Graphic Design for Print Certificate Program ends with a valuable 10-week capstone course in which participants are guided through the creation of a quality print project from concept to completion. During the capstone class, participants are assisted by print design specialists as they create professional print collateral, which serves as the final project for the certificate. The class even includes a day trip through a working print production facility. Flexible/Convenient FormatParticipants may take classes at times that are convenient for them. Our flexible, open enrollment format allows participants one year to complete all required classes in the certificate, and each class is offered several times every year.
