So you can build web PAGES, but can you build a web SITE? This course helps participants learn the process of creating a professional website while working on their own web project. From assessing the site requirements to designing templates to creating the final draft, this course reinforces and polishes your knowledge as a web professional. Emphasis will be placed upon project management skills, planning, and deliverables within a project. Participants will follow a structured design process to plan and build a professional website. Upon completion of this course, participants will understand the web development process and will have a completed website that can serve as part of a professional portfolio. This course serves as the capstone requirement for the Emory Web Certificate program and is only available to certificate enrollees. Arrive at the first class session with an idea for your website project!
