Why Emory's Certified Internal Auditor Program is unique…The Emory University DifferenceThe Emory Certified Internal Auditor program is the only university-based program offering available in most southern states. It also exemplifies to current or potential employers your commitment to professional development. Most employers understand the challenge an Emory education represents and recognize the elite status granted to participants completing one of Emory’s valuable programs. Proven CurriculumOur program utilizes The IIA’s CIA Learning System which is the comprehensive professional development and Certified Internal Auditor® (CIA®) exam preparation curriculum. It combines printed materials, Web-based tests and resources, and live instruction to teach the entire global CIA body of knowledge. Emory’s program offers premier training that meets the unique demands of internal audit professionals, employers, and instructors. Finally, the Emory program is built on the most current version of The IIA’s CIA Learning System which just became available January 1, 2009. This version features text and questions that are aligned with the 2009 International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF). Courses are scheduled over an 11-week period meeting from 9 am to 5 pm on the centrally located Emory Briarcliff Campus. Tuition includes an on-site luncheon on each scheduled Saturday class session. There is a break in the Saturday schedule between each course.
